The McIntyre Scholarship Foundation was started by Brian J. McIntyre, a former student and resident of Collingswood.
Mr. McIntyre, a business entrepreneur and 1976 graduate of Collingswood High School, started the program in the name of his parents George F. and Joan D. McIntyre and takes great pride in providing these scholarships to give back to the community where he lived and was educated.
A scholarship of $5,000 is awarded to selected candidates for college attendance and studies. Recipients of the McIntyre Scholarship Foundation must exhibit all of the following characteristics:
• Must be a graduating senior
• Must be of good academic standing
• Must use the endowment for post-secondary education
• Must have a major in the field of Science or Technology
• Must demonstrate a financial need
